  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup whole milk
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 medium apple (peeled and diced)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease muffin cups with vegetable oil.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Create a well in the dry mixture; add eggs, milk, and vanilla. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Stir in melted butter until fully incorporated.
  5. Heat the greased muffin pan in the oven for about 5 minutes.
  6. Add diced apples and apple cider vinegar to the batter just before filling the muffin tins.
  7. Fill each muffin tin halfway and bake for 18–20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool the fritters on a wire rack for five minutes before glazing them with a mixture of powdered sugar and milk.
