- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)

- 3 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
- 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a gallon-sized freezer bag, combine the sliced flank steak with cornstarch. Seal the bag tightly and shake until evenly coated.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, water, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame seeds, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the coated beef for about 3–5 minutes until browned on all sides; remove from the skillet.
- Add broccoli florets to the same skillet and sauté for about 3–4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the skillet, pour in the teriyaki sauce, stir well to coat everything evenly, and cook for an additional 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
