  • 1 large crusty bread bowl (sourdough or artisan)
  • 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup crab meat
  • 1/2 cup scallops
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Cut the top off the bread bowl and hollow out the center. Toast the hollowed bread in the oven for about 8–10 minutes until slightly crispy.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and shallots; sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp and scallops to the skillet; cook until just opaque (about 3–4 minutes). Stir in crab meat until heated through.
  5. Lower heat and mix in heavy cream, cream cheese, lemon juice, salt, and pepper; stir continuously until smooth.
  6. Stir in half of both grated Parmesan and shredded mozzarella until melted.
  7. Fill the toasted bread bowl with the creamy seafood mixture and top with remaining cheeses.
  8. Place on a baking sheet and bake for about 12–15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving hot.
