- 1 large crusty bread bowl (sourdough or artisan)
- 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup crab meat
- 1/2 cup scallops
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 ounces cream cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Cut the top off the bread bowl and hollow out the center. Toast the hollowed bread in the oven for about 8–10 minutes until slightly crispy.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and shallots; sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and scallops to the skillet; cook until just opaque (about 3–4 minutes). Stir in crab meat until heated through.
- Lower heat and mix in heavy cream, cream cheese, lemon juice, salt, and pepper; stir continuously until smooth.
- Stir in half of both grated Parmesan and shredded mozzarella until melted.
- Fill the toasted bread bowl with the creamy seafood mixture and top with remaining cheeses.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for about 12–15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving hot.
