Ingredients
For the Pineapple Slush:
2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
½ cup cold pineapple juice or coconut water
1–2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, depending on sweetness of pineapple)
Juice of ½ lime (optional, for brightness)
For the Strawberry Slush:
2 cups frozen strawberries
½ cup cold water or apple juice
1–2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
Juice of ½ lemon (optional)
For Garnish (Optional):
Fresh mint leaves
Pineapple wedges or sliced strawberries
Paper straws or drink umbrellas
Instructions
Step 1: Blend the Pineapple Layer
Add frozen pineapple, juice, sweetener (if using), and lime juice to a blender.
Blend until smooth and slushy. If too thick, add a bit more juice to help blend.
Transfer to a bowl or pour into the bottom half of glasses. Place in the freezer while you prepare the strawberry layer.
Step 2: Blend the Strawberry Layer
Rinse the blender, then add frozen strawberries, liquid, sweetener, and lemon juice.
Blend until smooth and icy. Again, add a little more liquid if needed to reach the right slushie texture.
Step 3: Assemble the Slushies
Spoon or pour the strawberry slush on top of the pineapple layer in each glass.
Use a long spoon or skewer to gently swirl the two layers together for a marbled effect.
Step 4: Garnish and Serve
Top with fresh mint, pineapple, or strawberry slices. Serve immediately with straws.
Notes
Use Frozen Fruit – For the perfect icy texture without adding ice
Adjust Sweetness – Taste each blend and sweeten only if needed
Swirl Gently – Don’t overmix or you’ll lose the color contrast
Use Clear Glasses – To show off the pretty layers
Serve Immediately – Slushies are best freshly blended
