  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup plus 2 tbsp milk (whole)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter (melted and cooled slightly)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a donut pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together all dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, espresso powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the sugars, Greek yogurt, milk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and fold until just combined.
  5. Fill each donut cavity about two-thirds full with batter.
  6. Bake for about 10 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow cooling briefly in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
  8. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, milk, and peppermint extract until smooth; dip cooled donuts into the glaze and sprinkle with crushed peppermint candies.
