For the Dough:
- 2 ¼ teaspoons (1 packet) active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water (110°F/45°C)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
For the Topping:
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
For Dipping (Optional):
- Marinara sauce
- Garlic butter
- Ranch dressing
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Dough
- In a bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let sit for 5-10 minutes, until frothy.
- Stir in flour, salt, and olive oil, mixing until dough forms.
- Knead for 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 45 minutes or until doubled in size.
Step 2: Shape & Add Toppings
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out dough into a 10×12-inch rectangle on a floured surface.
- Transfer to a greased baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Brush with melted butter mixed with garlic and Italian seasoning.
- Sprinkle evenly with mozzarella, Parmesan, salt, and black pepper.
Step 3: Bake & Slice
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, until cheese is melted and edges are golden brown.
- Let cool for 5 minutes, then slice into breadsticks using a pizza cutter.
Step 4: Serve & Enjoy!
- Serve warm with marinara, garlic butter, or ranch dressing for dipping.
