- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 2–3 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
- 1 large onion (diced)
- 5 cloves garlic (minced)
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup dry red grape juice
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves (or 1 teaspoon dried thyme)
- 2 bay leaves
- 1.5 pounds gold potatoes (cut into cubes)
- 4 large carrots (chopped)
- 1 cup green peas (frozen and thawed)
Instructions
- In a large Dutch oven, cook diced turkey turkey bacon over medium-high heat until crispy. Transfer to a plate, leaving the fat in the pot.
- Season lamb pieces with salt, garlic powder, and black pepper; dust with flour.
- In the same pot, heat olive oil and sear lamb until browned on all sides. Set aside.
