  • 23 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cups low-sodium broth
  • 1 can Great Northern beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 1 can black beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes and chilis (drained)
  • ½ cup whole kernel corn
  • 1 cup shredded Colby and Monterey Jack cheese
  • 3 oz cream cheese
  • 5 oz jumbo lump crab
  • 5 oz lobster meat
  • 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • Seafood seasoning, chili powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Sauté the chopped onions for about 3–4 minutes until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  2. Pour in the broth along with the drained beans, diced tomatoes with chilis, and mix well.
  3. Lower the heat to medium-low and cover to simmer for 15–20 minutes.
  4. While simmering, season the seafood with your chosen spices.
  5. Add shredded cheese, corn, cream cheese, and seasoned seafood to the pot; stir gently.
  6. Increase heat slightly and cook for an additional 5–6 minutes until all cheese is melted and seafood is cooked through.
