- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ tablespoon garlic powder
- ½ tablespoon onion powder
- 1 Au Jus gravy packet
- ½ Lipton onion soup mix packet
- 14.5 ounces beef broth
- 10.5 ounces beefy mushroom soup
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine diced beef with olive oil, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Toss to coat.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the seasoned beef for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- In another bowl, whisk together beef broth, beefy mushroom soup, half of the onion soup mix packet, and Au Jus gravy packet until smooth.
- Transfer the seared meat to the crockpot and pour the gravy mixture over it; stir gently to combine.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- To thicken the gravy, mix cornstarch with cold water and stir into the crockpot about 5 minutes before serving.
