Ingredients
12 oz spaghetti
3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or chopped
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
½ cup chicken broth or reserved pasta water
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)
Chopped parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Spaghetti
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook spaghetti until al dente, then drain and set aside. Reserve ½ cup of the pasta water if not using chicken broth.
Step 2: Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
Step 3: Make the Sauce
In a large mixing bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, 1 cup cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and chicken broth or reserved pasta water. Stir until smooth.
Step 4: Combine and Assemble
Add the shredded chicken and cooked spaghetti to the sauce mixture. Toss until evenly coated.
Transfer to the prepared baking dish and spread out evenly.
Top with the remaining ½ cup of cheddar cheese and sprinkle with grated Parmesan.
Step 5: Bake
Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
Uncover and bake an additional 10–15 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
Step 6: Serve
Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley or green onions if desired.
