- 1 1/2 lb Springer mountain farms chicken breast
- 1 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 12 oz gluten free farfalle pasta
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 tsp dry shallots
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp Gluten Free 1:1 Flour
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 12 oz shredded parmesan
- 1/4 cup pasta water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Boil gluten-free farfalle pasta in salted water until al dente, then drain.
- In a bowl, mix paprika, oregano, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
- Season chicken breasts with the spice mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear chicken until golden brown on both sides.
- Cook the chicken through under medium-low heat until it reaches 165°F; let rest before slicing.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and add dry shallots and garlic powder; stir for one minute.
- Sprinkle with gluten-free flour, then pour in chicken broth and heavy cream while whisking until smooth.
- Stir in shredded Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens.
- Toss cooked pasta in the sauce; use reserved pasta water to adjust consistency if needed.
