Ingredients

Scale

For the Deviled Eggs:

  • 6 large eggs

  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar

  • ½ tsp Cajun seasoning

  • ¼ tsp paprika

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Cajun Shrimp:

  • 12 small shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

For Garnish:

  • Fresh parsley or chives, finely chopped

  • Extra paprika for dusting

  • Lemon wedges (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Boil the Eggs
Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water.
Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.
Once boiling, turn off the heat, cover the pan, and let the eggs sit for 10-12 minutes.
Drain and cool the eggs under cold running water. Peel and set aside.

Step 2: Cook the Cajun Shrimp
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
In a small bowl, toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 1-2 minutes per side until they turn pink and are cooked through.
Remove from heat and set aside to cool.

Step 3: Prepare the Egg Filling
Slice the boiled eggs in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks.
Place the yolks in a mixing bowl and mash with a fork until crumbly.
Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Mix until smooth and creamy.

Step 4: Assemble the Deviled Eggs
Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
Top each deviled egg with a cooked shrimp.
Sprinkle with extra paprika and garnish with chopped parsley or chives.

Step 5: Serve and Enjoy
Arrange the deviled eggs on a serving platter.
Optional: Serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of freshness.
